Sustainable development
Elvia group Company committed to sustainable development Certified ISO 14000, Elvia has since its creation, implemented the means necessary for the respect of the legislation and, the good being and the safety of its employees.
All our factories are equipped with station for the waste water treatment.
Our workerss are trained to do clean processes, and with a risk controlled for the environment.
Elvia group proposes solutions for the respect of requirements ROHS
ROHS
ROHS regulation ( CEE 2002/95/) ask to limit and suppress some hazardous substance as :
-
Lead
-
Chrome
-
Cadmium
-
PBDE
-
PBB
Base material commonly used in PCB industry do not content any of these hazardous substances:
they are ROHS compliant.
The lead suppression needs to change drastically the assembly process, so to get reliable PCB and PCA we must look together new solutions.
Influence of ROHS regulation on base material has been evaluated on different items:
- Base material:
High reliability PCB
FR4 compatible to lead Free assembly
- Metallic finishes
- Storage conditions
- Packaging
When choosing material for Lead free Assembly:
- Specify Tg is not enough
High Tg is not always better.
- Degradation temperature is a critical parameter
for each kind of PCB
- Time to delamination is major but other parameters must be taken in account in multilayers
CTE of materials is important for HDI PCB or PCB with BGA
Improved FR4 material for other PCB
Our engineers worked out the best technological compromises between the manufacture of the printed circuits high density and materials most adapted.
